All care homes must have trained staff to act responsibly in an emergency situation!
Residential care homes are a special consideration where some or all of the residents might require assistance in the event of a fire; e.g. where residents may not be able to make their way to a place of total safety unaided. Therefore, in addition to all the generic fire safety training and guidance provided our Care Home Fire Training Course places an emphasis on evacuation, both theory and practical. Residents, service users & their families expect your home to be as safe as possible.
By completing our Care Home Fire Training with our professional fire service instructors, the latest rescue techniques and scenario based fire safety training; we will ensure your staff are prepared for every eventuality in the event of a fire. All of our staff are current county serving fire service personnel and as a result our training ensures your staff understand what is expected of them. To promote realistic training and comprehensive understanding we use water based smoke generators and life-size dummies. This specific course will give your staff the confidence and ability to act responsibly in the event of a fire emergency and SAVE LIVES!
