Course Overview
This course is aimed at all educational facilities delivering a Public Services Diploma Course and will allow their students to further develop their personal qualities and attributes, improve on skills such as communication and personal responsibility which will assist any application to a chosen public service. The course is delivered by current serving and experienced public service workers imparting their knowledge on how the different public services operate and the types of skills that students will need to succeed. Students will partake in both theory and practical work. They will learn how to work as a team, develop leadership and communication skills that are transferable to any public service position and you will have the opportunity to participate in exercises and scenarios with front line public services. In addition, students will be able to achieve a First Aid at Work and Fire Safety accredited certificate to add to their CV.
